The original print edition of Spirits Abroad was published by Fixi Novo in 2014. It was also released as an ebook containing extra stories and author’s notes. The new edition published by Small Beer Press in the US and Pan Macmillan in the UK is an expanded version published in August 2021, containing nine additional stories including novelettes “The Terracotta Bride” and Hugo Award winner “If at First You Don’t Succeed, Try, Try Again”.
